Mariah Carey Admits Retouched Single Art: "It Was Not My Selection" (PHOTO)

Mariah Carey admitted that the cover art for her brand new song "You Don't Know What To Do" was retouched, but insisted the decision wasn't hers.

A big stir was caused this weekend when the newly-released snapshot appeared to almost exactly match the album's cover photo.

It's unknown if the new art is another picture from the same shoot that was poorly photoshopped, or if it's basically a composition of Mariah's head retouched on to the exact same body photo.

Carey, 45, tweeted after the uproar: "That definitely was NOT my selection for the cover…ugh!"

Mariah then asked followers to send their own art creations: "'cause at this point IDKWTD! lol."

Her fans soon acted and the star retweeted some of her favorites.

"You Don't Know What To Do," featuring Wale, is the fourth single to be premiered from "Me. I Am Mariah…The Elusive Chanteuse".

Last week, Mariah was blamed for passing off an image of herself from 1997 as new.
